Game Duration & Team Equipment
Duration of Games
- U8/U9: 2 X 30 minute halves (7 v 7) – retreat line is 1/3 way line
- U10/U11: 2 X 35 minute halves (9 v 9) – offside/retreat line is 1/3 way line
- U12: 2 X 35 minute halves (9 v 9)
- U13: 2 X 35 minute halves (9 v 9)
- U15: 2 X 45 minute halves (11 v 11)
- U17: 2 X 45 minute halves (11 v 11)
- U19: 2 X 45 minute halves (11 v 11)
Required Team Equipment
The Home Team is responsible for supplying the following equipment:
- 2 Game Balls**:
- U8 – U12 size 4 (Note: U12 Club uses size 4)
- U13 – U19 size 5
- 3 corner flags
- 1 goal net**
It is the home team’s responsibility to change if there are conflicting jersey colours. (Pinnies are acceptable).
** Failure to provide 2 game balls by the home team will result in a $100 admin fee being issued. If the away team is not able to assist by providing game balls for the home team, then the game will be defaulted by the home team
The Away Team is responsible for supplying the following equipment:
- 3 corner flags
- 1 goal net**
**If a team shows up to the field and does not attempt to provide a net by kick off time, they will forfeit the game.
If a team shows up at the field without flags, the game will still be played.
EMSA ID Card Verification Process
This process is to be performed prior to each game and came into effect October 17, 2023.
Team Official Card Verification Protocol
- A designated team official will make contact with the opposing team 15 minute prior to kick off.
- They will take the opposing team’s game sheet and check both Team Officials and players cards for that team. **
- The designated Team Official will then print their name at the top left of the opponents’ game sheet indicating that they checked the game sheet and all Team Officials and players cards.
- Any uncertainty or concerns will be brought to the attention of the referee to make the final decision.
- Any late players who are unchecked will be checked at half time by the referee.
Referee Game sheet Responsibilities
- To ensure that they receive the game sheet and any trialist forms from each team.
- To ensure that a referee Liaison is in place.
- To settle any discrepancies or disputes on player eligibility or identification.
- Properly write down the score, scorers and any cards that were given.
- To submit the game sheet and trialist form to EMSA as per procedure directed by the Referee Assignor
**Team Officials who forget their I.D. card/e-card or cannot show it in electronic or paper printed format are NOT PERMITTED to be put on the game sheet under the bench attendant section instead. As a team official you MUST have your card (or an electronic/paper printed version). There are NO exceptions to this and NO other forms of I.D. are accepted for team officials.

Incident Reports
Team Officials, including Coaches and Managers, must file an Incident Report for injuries that necessitate an Emergency Medical Response or Emergency Room treatment. Additionally, any organization member, such as parents or players, is also eligible to submit an Incident Report. In addition, LSA requires members to complete reports for incidents involving physical assault, verbal abuse, sexual misconduct/abuse, social media harassment, general misconduct, property damage, or theft/loss of LSA or personal property in order to to take appropriate action.

After completing the Incident Report form, any supporting documentation, pcithotos, videos or screenshots can be submitted to incident@leducsoccer.ca.
